#HumanAdapt2018 Poster Call

Organized by the Oxford Bioanth Initiative and the Society for the Study of Human Biology, #HumanAdapt2018 aims to gather and connect researchers from a wide variety of fields. The poster session will be hosted in Oxford’s University Museum of Natural History where scholars debated On the Origin of Species in 1860.

We invite research students and early-career researchers to submit abstracts for posters on topics including:

  • Human Evolution
  • Human Behavioural Ecology
  • Human Adaptation
  • Primatology
  • Evolutionary Genetics
  • Evolutionary Neuroscience
  • Evolutionary Medicine
  • Other fields related to the understanding of Human Diversity and Adaptation

#HumanAdapt2018 is unique in that all posters are open to the general public with the ambition to explain, debate and learn about contemporary issues in Biological Anthropology.

Programme

Posters will be presented in the galleries of the Oxford University Natural History Museum before the 2nd Annual Geoffrey Harrison Memorial Lecture given by Prof Nick Mascie-Taylor (University of Cambridge) and afterwards during the drinks reception.
